We all go through times of testing when unfair things happen, when doors close, when it feels as though God has forgotten about us. No, He still sees you doing the right thing when it’s hard.
He sees you praising when you could be complaining. He sees you at work being your best when you’re not getting the credit. He sees the lonely nights and the tears from what’s breaking your heart. But you’re still serving, still giving, still being good to people.
If you’ve been struggling a long time, be encouraged. “When you have passed the test, you will receive the victor’s crown of life.” Victory is coming. Favor is coming. Ease is coming. God is about to shift some things—from borrowing to lending, from being stuck to being promoted, from mourning to dancing, from sorrow to joy. That victor’s crown is on the way. Now keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing when you’re uncomfortable.
You don’t understand it, but it’s building character in you. It’s getting you prepared for the amazing favor He has in store.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You are using the pressure of challenges and temptations to make me stronger and grow me up. Thank You that every test of my faith is preparing me to overcome and persevere, to go higher and increase me. I believe I will receive the victor’s crown that You have promised. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
